Time to get out all your festive decor and candy canes!
It’s Christmas time and that means getting together with friends and family to celebrate. Below are a few simple Christmas themed snacks you can make for your next party.
Chocolate Dipped Clementines with Sea Salt
Ingredients- 7-8 medium clementines, 4 oz. dark chocolate, finely chopped, and a few pinches sea salt
Directions- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel and segment clementines; set aside.
In a small bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler, melt dark chocolate. Dip clementine segments in chocolate and transfer to prepared sheet. Immediately sprinkle with tiny pinches of salt before the chocolate sets.
Once all pieces are dipped, set sheet aside until chocolate hardens. To quickly harden chocolate, refrigerate sheet for 10 minutes. Store in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
Christmas Tree Vegetable Platter
Creamy Herb Dip 1/2 cup sour cream or crème fraîche, 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing, 3 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley, 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, and 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
Vegetable Platter 3 cups fresh broccoli florets, 14 grape tomatoes, 1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips, 1 1/2 cups fresh cauliflower florets, and 3/4 oz (about 40) pretzel sticks (from 15-oz bag)
Directions- 1 In small bowl, stir together dip ingredients. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors. 2 Rinse and thoroughly dry vegetables. Trim broccoli and cauliflower floret stems. 3 Arrange broccoli on serving platter to form tree shape and tomatoes to form garland. Arrange bell pepper to form star and cauliflower to form snow (see photo). If desired, cover and refrigerate up to 4 hours. 4 Just before serving, arrange pretzels at bottom of tree to form trunk. Serve with dip.
Ingredients- Green Grapes, Strawberries, Bananas, Mini Marshmallows, and Toothpicks
Directions- Wash grapes and strawberries. Slice bananas and cut of the green end of the strawberries. Poke a toothpick into the top of the grape, thread on a banana slice, then the strawberry top, followed by the mini marshmallow.

It’s time for friends, family and food to come together. Below are a few fun Thanksgiving Day Snacks you can make for your Thanksgiving get together this year.
Easy Oreo Pretzel Turkeys for Thanksgiving
Ingredients- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil, 12 fudge-covered Oreo cookies, 36 chocolate-covered pretzels, 24 candy eyeballs and 12 pieces candy corn
Directions- 1. Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil 30 seconds in a small microwave-safe bowl. Remove and stir. Continue cooking in 30-second increments until chips are melted. 2. Assemble cookies using chocolate like glue; spread on back of Oreo and attach 3 pretzels in a fan pattern to look like feathers. 3. Dip backs of eyeballs and candy corn in chocolate and stick to the front of the “turkey” to make a face. 4. Place finished turkeys on a plate and cool in refrigerator 1 hour to allow chocolate to set.
Cheese Tray Turkey
Ingredients- Some mild cheddar and colby jack cheeses, Oldani salami, and Flipside Pretzel crackers for the feathers. Two peppercorns for the eyes, half a pistachio shell for the beak, and toothpicks for the legs.
Directions- Assemble as shown in picture.
Chocolate & Peanut Butter Acorns
Ingredients- 1/2 bag of Mini-Chips, Hershey’s Kisses, and NutterButter.
Directions- Melt 1/2 bag of Mini-Chips in 5 second interval in the microwave, stirring really good each time. Dip the flat end of the Hershey’s Kiss into melted chocolate and top with a bite-size NutterButter. Dip the flat end of a Mini-Chip into the melted chocolate and stick it to the NutterButter. If your child has a peanut allergy, substitute the NutterButter for a Ritz Bitz!
