The last thing you want is to have your party guests complaining about irritated eyes and strong chlorine smells. Checking your water chemical levels is the best way to ensure your guests will never want to leave your pool. There are a lot of factors that affect water levels, water source, temperature and debris, just to name a few; your water levels are constantly changing, so check them often.
So how do you check? There are three easy ways:
- Use a test kit – we recommend using a SplashPro Water Testing Kit, it is simple and easy to use. Follow the directions and apply in the recommended amount of SunGuard chemicals.
- Take a sample of your water to get professionally tested at your local Authorized SunGuard Dealer. The helpful water testing technician will provide you with everything you need to get your chemical levels perfect, and while you are there pick up some fun pool noodles and floats.
- The Easiest Option – Have your local Authorized SunGuard Dealer set your water levels for you, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the results.
Make sure to take into account what the temperature is going to be the day of your party and how many people will be enjoying your pool.
Step 2: Remove any debris.
Debris in a pool is as inevitable as the sun rising. So check your pool filter for any clogs, and take care of any surface debris with your trusty hand skimmer and leaf rakes. Once your pool is debris free, run your pool pump to properly circulate the clean water throughout your pool.
Step 3: Put on your swimsuit and enjoy!
